Shearit Y'israel Nazarene Qahal

Statement of Faith for Shearit Y’israel

1. All Scripture is given by Adonai, and is to be used for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness. Adonai and His Torah are eternal, that is: He, His Torah and His Will has always, and will always, be the same. (2 Timothy 3:16, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8, Matthew 5:18; 24:35).

2. Hear, O Yisrael: Adonai is our Elohim. Adonai is One. (Deuteronomy 6:4).

3. The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week, and is the created holy day of Adonai, which He gave to mankind and covenanted with His people as a sign forever. (Exodus 31:16, Genesis 2:2-3, Isaiah 58:13-14, Matthew 12:8).

4. Yahushua of Natzeret (Nazareth) is the Messiah of Yisrael, the Savior of the world, the King of kings. He is Elohim who walked among mankind in the flesh, and now is glorified with all power in Heaven and in Earth, at the right hand of Adonai. Messiah Yahushua is the ultimate and final Passover Lamb required for the removal of sins. He died on a stake and rose from the dead three days afterward. Everyone who repents of their sins, and trusts that Yahushua is the Messiah, who died as our Passover Lamb and rose again, they are forgiven their sins and come into a renewed covenant with Adonai through Him, and therefore become inheritors of all the promises Elohim made with Avraham and Y'israel. (John 1:12-14, Isaiah 53, Romans 10:9-11, 1 Corinthians 5:7).

5. The Brit Chadasha (Renewed Covenant) in Messiah Yahushua brings with it a new creation of the human spirit. The Torah (Instructions/Law/Teaching) of Adonai is planted inside so that the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit/Breath) may indwell there. An external immersion in water (Rachatz/washed) inducts us into the priesthood of Melech Tzadiq/righteous King, for we are a nation of priestly kings. (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Ezekiel 39:29, Leviticus 8:6).

6. The various gifts of the Ruach HaKodesh are given to all those who ask Adonai and obey His commandments. The Promise of Abba, an extra endowment of power and boldness for witnessing, is an immersion (spiritual mikveh) by the Ruach HaKodesh. Each follower should seek to be filled with the various gifts of the Ruach, who gives them as He wishes. (Isaiah 28:11-12, Luke 11:13, Acts 1:4-5; 2:4; 5: 32, 1 Cor 12: 1-13, Eph 1:13).

7. The promise of a continual, faithful trust in Messiah Yahushua , while walking according to the will of Adonai, is resurrection from the dead, eternal life and ruling with Messiah Yahushua forever in the place where His Kingdom will rule. He will yet rule in Jerusalem, and finally in New Jerusalem/Zion in the New Creation forever. (Revelation 19-22).

8. Messiah Yahushua will judge all mankind of all acts and words ever committed. He will decide the sentence for punishment, and all those not meeting His standard will be sent away from His presence, into outer darkness and eternal punishment of the sin. (Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20).

9. The people of Adonai are a holy Miqra (Called Out/Ekklesia/Congregation) which is not of the world, in order to gather and celebrate Him at His Moadim (Appointed Feasts), and be a Royal Priesthood and a Holy Nation.  Adonai has established ONE Torah (instruction/law/ teachings), ONE people, and ONE nation.

10.  Messiah Yahushua commanded His people to “…be perfect, as your Father I the heavens is perfect.”  Mat. 5:48. Perfection, in the eyes of The Most High, is accomplished by the culminations of two requirements.  The first is to be righteous.  Since no man is righteous of his own accord, Messiah fulfilled this requirement for us.  His righteous act on the tree made all who would accept His gift Tzadiq/righteous.  We are cloaked in his blood that washes us white as snow.  The second requirement is to be Qadosh/set apart.  This is attained by following every word that proceeded out of the mouth of the father.  Luke 4:4, Mat 4:4, Exo. 24:3  Therefore it is not just faith, but also works that perfects the saints/Talmadim.  Matt. 16:27, Rom. 2:6,7, Tit. 3:8, Rev. 2:5.  Therefore being perfected in righteousness by Messiah Yahushua and being perfected in set apartness by following the Torah of His Father, we become perfect before The Ever Existing.  We become Echad with Him.

11. We understand that Yisrael is comprised of all twelve tribes of the Patriarchs Avraham (Abraham), Yitzchak (Isaac), and Ya`akov (Jacob), and also includes those who are not physical descendants of the Patriarchs, yet serve the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov and claim the promise of Avraham's seed through faith in Yahushua the Messiah. Believers in Messiah Yahushua make a citizenship choice to become a part of the Commonwealth of Yisrael. Physical lineage does not carry special status or merit within the Kingdom of Messiah.

12. The final plan for the Elohim of Yisrael is to bring the remnant of all twelve tribes of Yisrael, and those believers who were formerly Non-Y’israelites together and united into one holy people under one Shepherd, namely Yahushua the Messiah, thus completing the tearing down of the wall of partition. This is a necessary part of the restoration of all things spoken by the prophets. The middle wall of partition which in times past separated Yisrael and Non-Y’israelites has been broken down and the enmity between them has been eradicated by the Messiah Yeshua. The Renewed Covenant body of Adonai is composed of all twelve tribes of Yisrael, and Non-Y’israelites who have accepted Y’israel's Messiah Yeshua as the promised redeemer, and that now they are to worship together in the House of YHWH (John 10:16, I Corinthians 12:13, Hebrews 10:25 Hosea 1-2, John 17, Romans 9:26, Ephesians 2, & Acts 3:21).
